WHO WE ARE
Six leaders in the Seattle queer geek community banded together in Justice League-fashion in 2012 to put all their events under one umbrella, which is Queer Geek! Our founding members are Andrew Asplund, Ashley Cook, Zan Christensen, Charlie Logan, Eric Starker, and Benjamin Williams. Currently Benjamin Williams and Andrew Asplund have taken a step back and are more advising members, while Andrew Schulz is an active organizer/leader since 2015.
OUR CONTINUING MISSION
Explore and celebrate all facets of GLBTQ geek culture.
Build a thriving community locally and nationally.
Combat homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny while promoting diversity and acceptance in geek culture.
