SUMMARY:24-Hour Gaming Marathon @ Phoenix
DESCRIPTION:This year we are changing up our 24 hour gaming marathon. We will be supporting Lambert House! In partnering with them\, they have graciously provided us with a link to send donations. \nA little about Lambert House\nLambert House empowers lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth\, ages 10-22\, through the development of leadership\, social\, and life skills. By making a donation\, you can ensure that Lambert House’s efforts to safeguard and uplift LGBTQ youth continue and grow to meet the ever-increasing need in our region. \nWebsite: https://www.lamberthouse.org/\nFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/lamberthouse/ \nThis event replaces our typical monthly board game event at Phoenix Comics & Games in November. This event runs the whole weekend drop in and out as you want. Bring a friend\, or a group of friends. The event is all ages and open to anyone. Individually\, we will be bringing special selections of games from our personal collections to play\, and some games that only make it to the table once per year. \nThe store does allow food and (non-alcoholic) drinks. If you require accommodation for health reasons\, please let us know ahead of time and we can try to work something out. \nThe event runs from 10AM-10PM on Saturday and Sunday (and to be fair\, we don’t always make it to 10PM) – we do not do 24 hours all at once. This is very flexible – while we encourage people to attend the whole time who want to\, or attend when you want and are able. While this event is in person\, feel free to share the above donation link far and wide\, and if you feel like streaming or playing elsewhere you are welcome to! All donations go directly to Lambert House. \nLet us know if you have any questions. As always\, we’ll be providing (and highly recommend wearing) nametag stickers that indicate gender pronouns.
